The OfficeJet 250’s dimensions while the lid is closed are 3.6 by 15 by 7.8 inches (HWD), and with the rear paper feeder and the front-facing automated document feeder extended, those dimensions increase to 10.6 by 15 by 15.8 inches (HWD). The HP OfficeJet 150 Mobile All-in-One, which has closed dimensions of 3.6 by 13.9 by 6.9 inches, is slightly bigger than its predecessor.

The OfficeJet 250, which measures 2.7 by 14.3 by 7 inches and weighs 6.5 pounds (6.7 pounds with the included battery in place), is over 2 pounds heavier than the OfficeJet 200 (4.6 pounds, 4.9 pounds with battery in place). The OfficeJet 250’s size and weight are obviously increased over a single-function mobile inkjet by the addition of the copier and scanner, but not noticeably. Even said, it is heavier than the majority of computers, which contributes significantly to the lack of transportable all-in-one printers.
The OfficeJet 250 includes a rear paper feeder for handling paper that can accommodate up to 50 sheets of letter-size paper. The feeder supports manual duplexing, which is managed using the printer’s software interface, however, it does not automatically print on both sides of a page. Maximum monthly duty cycles of 300 pages are advised. All of this is equivalent to the OfficeJet 150’s and OfficeJet 200’s storage capacity.
However, while having a scanner, the HP OfficeJet 150 can only manually feed one page at a time. However, like the OfficeJet 150, the OfficeJet 250 only supports simplex (one-sided) scanning. It also has a 10-sheet ADF. It supports PDF, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, and RTF scanning and saving. At a rate of four pages per minute (ppm), which is normal for a basic portable scanner, it scanned a ten-page document from the ADF to PDF format.
