HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow N6600 fnw1 Driver and Software Download. Sheetfed document scanners have become standard office equipment, but high-volume, corporate-class scanners that combine sheetfed and flatbed designs have grown increasingly rare over time. In reality, the HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow N6600 fnw1, a sheetfed/flatbed combination, replaces a machine we tested in January 2014. (ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7500).
The N6600 is an enterprise-level device with numerous scanning features for busy offices, as its name would imply. It comes with very effective scanning and document-management software and is quick, accurate, and durable. Only the cost prevents it from replacing one of our current favourites in the enterprise-grade scanner category.

The items themselves have changed significantly throughout the years, as can be seen in the graphic below, along with the names and nomenclature of scanner products. Modern scanners are, for the most part, the same size as their more durable predecessors. The ScanJet Enterprise Flow N6600 is around 10 pounds lighter than the aforementioned ScanJet 7500 and is a few inches shorter at 5.2 by 21.1 by 12.8 inches (HWD) with its input tray closed.
In terms of height and weight, the Enterprise Flow N6600 fnw1 (right) is nearly half that of its 2014 predecessor. With HP’s hybrid sheetfed/flatbed architecture, the input tray extends upward but the actual footprint of the scanner-machine is on your desktop, in contrast to standard sheetfed scanners, whose paper trays frequently expand to two or three times their utilised length. Or the position on the counter remains the same.
The 2015 Fujitsu fi-7260 (about to be replaced by the soon-to-be-reviewed fi-8270) is comparable to the ScanJet of today in terms of speed and features, however it is somewhat bigger and weighs more (as did another scanner recently reviewed, the Raven). The Epson DS-1630 Flatbed Color Scanner and the Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner, two more modern but less powerful and less expensive rivals of the Pro Max, are smaller and more spherical than the N6600.
