HP ScanJet Pro 2500 f1 Driver and Software Download. The HP ScanJet Pro 2500 f1 was three and a half years old when the Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner won one of our Best of 2019 Awards. Finally, HP has a new model to replace that one. In order to handle anything from stacks of printed sheets to book pages and sensitive documents, the new ScanJet Pro 2600 f1 combines a flatbed scanner with a sheetfed automated document feeder (ADF).
Like the more expensive Editors’ Choice winner, the ScanJet Pro 3600 f1, is substantially faster than the 2016 model and comes with an updated version of HP’s Scan Pro interface and document processing software, making it an excellent dual-function scanner for small and home offices.(It lists for more than its nearest competitors, but that will probably decrease shortly and has at a few online retailers.)

Our new Editors’ Choice pick among entry-level sheetfed/flatbed document scanners is the 2600 f1, which defeats the Xerox Combo. The cheapest of four combo scanners HP introduced a few weeks ago is the ScanJet Pro 2600 f1. The previously discussed 3600 f1 and the business-oriented ScanJet Enterprise Flow N6600 fnw1 have already been examined.
These three are comparable in size and weight but differ greatly in speed, capacity, volume, and price. The ScanJet Pro 2600 f1, which measures 5.2 by 19.4 by 12.8 inches (HWD) and weighs 11.9 pounds, is a little bit thicker than the 2500 f1 while the other two were much smaller than their predecessors. The Epson DS-1630 Flatbed Color Document Scanner is between the Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner and this new HP in terms of weight.
The Xerox is smaller and weighs about half as much. The control panel for 2600 is a simple, straightforward arrangement of buttons and LEDs, much like the 3600’s. The buttons include Cancel, Shortcut Select, Scan to PDF, Scan to JPEG, Scan to Email, Scan to Cloud, Scan to USB, Simplex/Duplex (toggling one- and two-sided scanning), Scan/Start, and the power button, all of which are arranged clockwise from the left. The Epson and Xerox control panels are even more basic than this array.
