Samsung CLP-360 Driver and Software Download. The award for the world’s smallest colour laser printer may have to go to Samsung’s CLP-360. With dimensions of 382 x 309 x 210mm, this is an incredibly little laser printer that will look fantastic seated on a desktop at home or in the office. But how excellent is it? Despite its small size, the CLP-360 contains a 150-page cassette, a 300MHz processor with 32MB of memory, and a USB port – but no wi-fi or other network connectivity.
The printer’s design is rather simple, with only a few control buttons, power on one side, and a lift-up flap of plastic in the output area on the top of the printer. On the plus side, the blue and white colours utilised throughout look rather nice. The colour pages were much slower, at three pages per minute, with the first out within 30 seconds of sending the print through. Before we go into the print quality, it’s worth noting that this specific CLP-360 gave us a lot of trouble when printing. We got frequent paper jam warnings and, for some unknown reason, blank sheets fed through the mechanism when it finally took the data. To be honest, we’re not sure what was going on, but suffice it to say, based on our experiences here, this isn’t a particularly dependable brand of printer. When it finally appear, the print quality was generally satisfactory.
The text was reasonably sharp and readable, and the colour prints were as clear, with vibrant colours and a high quality. In reality, the Samsung CLP-360 provided the best output of all the printers; it’s just a shame that getting the output from the printer was such a hassle in the first place. Replacement toner prices vary, but we identified one of the lowest for a multi-pack of genuine Samsung toners.
